The MG4 EV Urban is a stylish all-electric hatchback introduced to the UK market as a more affordable and city-focused version of the MG4 EV. It combines contemporary design, practical interior space and modern electric driving technology within a compact package suitable for daily use and urban travel. It shares MG’s EV lineage while offering unique character and value in its class.
The MG4 EV Urban is available with two battery choices: a 43 kWh Standard Range pack offering around 201 miles of WLTP range and a larger 54 kWh Long Range pack capable of approximately 258 miles between charges. These options allow buyers to balance range with price and daily needs. Both versions support rapid charging for quicker top-ups while out and about.
The MG4 EV Urban features a refreshed exterior approach that emphasises a softer, more contemporary look compared with previous models. Curved headlights, a redesigned front fascia and roof rails contribute to its modern urban aesthetic while offering visibility and presence on UK streets. Its design enhances day-to-day usability and city manoeuvrability.
Inside the MG4 EV Urban, technology is front and centre with a spacious, refined cabin layout and a large 12.8″ infotainment touchscreen that integrates navigation, media and connectivity. A 10.25″ digital driver display keeps essential information in clear view, while features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto help occupants stay connected during every journey.
The MG4 EV Urban comes equipped with MG Pilot, a suite of advanced driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking and traffic sign recognition. These systems work together to help enhance safety and confidence whether navigating busy urban streets or cruising on longer routes.
The MG4 EV Urban offers generous interior space and a practical boot that comfortably accommodates luggage and everyday items. Rear seats fold easily to expand cargo capacity further, enhancing flexibility for shopping, travel and weekday errands. Its compact exterior footprint still delivers a family-friendly cargo area.
