Permitted activities include advising on and arranging general insurance contracts and acting as a credit broker not a lender. We can introduce you to a limited number of finance providers and may receive differing levels of commission from each of them for the introduction. All finance applications are subject to status, terms and conditions apply, UK residents only, 18’s or over. Guarantees may be required.
DJ Cox Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Ref No 313486) for consumer credit purposes. We are a broker for finance and not a lender. Please be aware lenders may pay us a commission for introducing you to them. This commission can be based on the amount you borrow or the vehicle you purchase. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions. Any commission amounts lenders pay will not affect the amount that you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is a financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom, but operates independently of the UK Government, and is financed by charging fees to members of the financial services industry. We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We are not an independent financial advisor; we will provide details of products available, but no advice or recommendation will be made. You must decide whether the finance product is right for you. We do not charge you a fee for our services. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow). For your reassurance, all of the lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates, but the commission we receive does not influence the interest rate you will pay. Our aim is to secure finance for you at the lowest interest rate you are eligible for from our panel of lenders.
Managing Your Complaint
We are committed to providing you with the best possible service. Although most of our customers are happy with the service they receive from us, we know that sometimes we don’t get it right first time. We do take complaints very seriously and always apologize for any mistakes or instances when customer service does not meet our high standards. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of one of our products or services, please tell us. We would like the chance to put it right.
When you contact us, please provide us with as much information as possible. This should include your account information, details of your complaint and what you would like us to do to put things right. We won’t charge you for raising a complaint.

How long it will take?
We aim to resolve most our complaints there and then. If we are able to resolve your complaint within 4 business days to your satisfaction, we will send you a Summary Resolution Communication which will confirm this and also provide details of the Financial Ombudsman Service.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint within 4 business days, we will send you a letter to let you know and we will keep you regularly informed of our progress until your complaint is resolved.
What to do if we can’t reach an agreement
The Financial Ombudsman Service is an independent organisation which helps to resolve complaints that customers and financial institutions haven’t been able to resolve themselves. If you are not satisfied with our response, or if we’ve been unable to resolve your complaint within eight weeks, you can refer the matter to them. In reserving a vehicle, the Customer (“You”) agree to pay a Reservation Fee by Credit or Debit Card which enables us to remove the vehicle from sale to the general public and hold the vehicle for a limited period to allow You to enter into an agreement to buy the vehicle.
In reserving a vehicle, we will remove the vehicle from sale for a period of 48 hours. Within 48 hours of the Reservation being confirmed as paid, You will have exclusive rights to conclude the purchase and enter into an agreement to purchase the vehicle from Us.
Reserving the vehicle does not enter You into a contract to purchase the vehicle, You will not be committed to buy the vehicle until you have signed an agreement.
If You have not agreed to purchase the Vehicle within 48 hours of reservation, We reserve the right to make the Vehicle available for sale to the general public again and will refund You the Reservation Fee back to the original credit or debit card used to make the initial Reservation.
The Reservation Fee is not a deposit and shall not constitute a contract for the sale or purchase of a vehicle. However, if You decide to purchase the Vehicle, You agree that we will retain the Reservation Fee as part payment towards the purchase price of the Vehicle.
Refunds may take up to 10 days to appear on your credit or debit card statement.
We may cancel the reservation for whatever reason whereupon we will refund the whole Reservation Fee.
Whilst we aim to ensure our website is up to date, there may be instances where a car has sold in the dealership. If this does happen, we will refund the whole reservation fee.
This Agreement will be subject to English Courts.
Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect or limit the statutory rights of the customer.
