Existing Control Measures

Managers are talking to all un-furloughed staff daily to assess their well-being.

Segregation of employees / customers to reduce infection

Existing Control Measures

Those who can work from home are told to do so. Meetings kept to a minimum None essential training cancelled Offices re organised where needed Work areas segregated Tape on floor which leads to the service desk. Screens on service desk and sales desks Screens between desks in accounts

Risk:

Technicians in contact with the motor vehicle when moving the vehicle. Steering wheel, gears, etc

Existing Control Measures

Protective cover on seat. Wipe controls down when first entering and when handing back to the customer

Potential signs of infections dry cough / temperature etc. of employees

Existing Control Measures

Self isolate for 7 days. If at work retreat to a safe place and contact manager.

People coming back to work after infection or isolation

Health Questionnaire (RTW) completed before starting back.

Contractors & Drivers coming to site spreading infection

Delivery drivers coming to site have their own procedure normally no signatures. Contract Cleaners have procedures.

Wipes & gels available across site. Desks / Computer to be wiped before use by the user. Door handles cleaned regularly or left open

Employees to attend to minor incidents themselves (cuts etc.) Masks and gloves provided.

Untill a trained first aider is back on site, the site will nominate a competent person to arrange emergency services etc. Minimal staff on site

Contact with workers while working on the same piece of equipment.

Existing Control Measures

2m social distancing must be adhered to. Can the task be delayed? Where social distancing can not be adhered to and contact is for more than 15 minutes then eye protection, mask and gloves to be used

Existing Control Measures

Toilets are cleaned each morning by contracted cleaners. Sign on toilet door for customers offering wipes for door handles etc.

Existing Control Measures

Regular briefs carried out to employees. Internal doors kept open to recue contact with handles (not fire doors) Cough into tissue and bin then wash hands with soap and water. If no tissue then use your sleeve. Wash hands with soap and water regularly.

Cars in showrooms

Existing Control Measures

All showroom cars locked and a sticker on drivers window informing the customer that to ask a member of staff if they wish to look inside. At which stage the sales assistant will unlock the car and give the customer a pair of gloves which will be disposed of as soon as the customer has got out of the car. The sales assistant can then disinfect the inside of the car before locking the car again.

Whilst Social Distancing is in place any Test Drives (with or without Trade Plates) will be unaccompanied. Cars must be sanitized before and after the Test Drive and gloves are provided for the customer.

The sales department are using their own designated desk to make and receive calls, they phone should be frequently sanitised using anti-bacterial wipes. The customer negotiation desks have the phones set to Do Not Disturb.
