The Opportunity
No two days are the same in our Parts Department!
As a Parts Advisor, you'll play an important role in keeping our dealership operations running smoothly while helping to grow our online parts business.
From supporting our workshop technicians and assisting customers face-to-face to managing online orders and enquiries, you'll be at the heart of our aftersales operation.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering outstanding customer service – assisting customers in person, over the telephone and via email with professional, friendly and knowledgeable advice.
- Supporting our growing online parts business – processing enquiries and orders efficiently while helping to drive sales.
- Keeping our workshops moving – ensuring our technicians have the right parts, in the right place, at the right time.
- Building lasting customer relationships – developing trust and loyalty through excellent service and product knowledge.
- Driving sales and profitability – identifying opportunities to increase parts sales and contributing to departmental targets.
- Maintaining accurate records – ensuring all parts transactions, orders and stock movements are correctly recorded.
- Working to the highest standards – following manufacturer guidelines, company procedures and health and safety requirements, including COSHH.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines automotive knowledge with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience working within an automotive Parts Department.
- A good understanding of vehicle components, parts and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using computer systems and managing customer enquiries.
- A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work in a busy environment.
- A drive to achieve targets and contribute to the success of the department.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
Experience using Kerridge DMS would be advantageous.
