Honda Named Most Reliable Brand in What Car? Reliability Survey 2025
Honda drivers have long enjoyed the reassurance that comes with exceptional build quality, and the latest results from the What Car? Reliability Survey 2025 reaffirm this reputation. At a time when many products no longer stand the test of time, Honda continues to set itself apart with engineering designed to last.
This commitment to durability has now been officially recognised, with Honda named the most reliable car brand of 2025. For existing owners, this accolade will come as little surprise, given the brand’s longstanding record for dependable performance.
The annual What Car? survey draws on feedback from thousands of motorists, assessing whether their vehicles experienced any faults, how much repairs cost, and how long they took to complete. For 2025, more than 32,000 owners across 30 manufacturers and 227 models contributed to the study, covering cars up to five years old.
Honda stood out for its remarkably low fault rate across all five models evaluated. When issues did occur, they were resolved free of charge, with over half of the problems fixed within a day — resulting in an impressive overall reliability score of 96.6%, the highest among all brands surveyed.
