Dare to live the dream. Tour until your hearts content.
From a young age, growing up around motorcycles my Dad always taught me you can opt for the fast and thrilling route or long and enjoyable. Since then, a lot has changed by the way of GT-scooters and the development of sports-tourers, but you know what – I think that is still a pretty accurate reflection.
Honda Motorcycles have entered 2023 with their most refined Honda Gold Wing ever, alongside the Honda NT1100 and now the Honda CMX1100 Rebel Tour.
The journey is all yours; with superior luxury touring on board the iconic GL1800 Gold Wing or Gold Wing Tour through to the liquid-cooled 4-stroke 8-valve parallel twin, 1084cc powered CMX1100T Rebel or equally propelled Honda NT1100. Want to truly make the ride your own? Each of these models also comes in manual or dual-clutch transmission (DCT), giving you the absolute in comfort and ease as you take to the open road.
Since its inception in 1975, the Honda Gold Wing has been redefining touring and opened a new chapter in luxury motorcycling. The latest and greatest uplift came to the Gold Wing range in 2018, weighing in with a lighter kerb weight, as well as an all-new engine, a very different chassis including new front suspension which allowed for significantly improved ride quality and sharper handling too. Coupled with the ‘sportier’ design, a new legend was born. Targeting a new audience, as the traditionally named Bagger offered all the pleasure of Gold Wing ownership without the same degree of size and commitment. Now, for 2023, Honda released a colour palette that’s classy yet playful reaching the discerning owner on a more personal level; the choice is yours.
The brand-new Honda NT1100 was released late in 2021 as an all-new model and an eagerly anticipated one at that! Since the VFR days, Honda lovers were craving a 1-litre machine that offered the power and performance of a sports bike whilst having the practicality and pleasure of a tourer that allowed for luggage and a comfortable two-up ride when it called for it. Right away, the punchy parallel twin offered the grunt the adventure hungry bikers craved whilst appealing to the long-distance rider as the effortless, smooth drive kept going as long as they could.
Speaking of gaps in the market, Honda addressed this with the returning name of the Honda Rebel with an entirely new look. This time, for 2023 the Rebel truly grew into its cruiser reputation with custom-shaped hard pannier luggage and a wide screen front fairing offering that true King of the Road stance. With a seat height of just 700mm, it opens the market to those looking for a casual, stylish cruiser. As the Rebel 1100T has a smaller sibling, the CMX500 Rebel, this larger motorcycle already has a well-known silhouette; the Rebel Tour offers more by the way of power and versatility with extras available to add to your already touring-ready motor.
North West Honda Super Centre are proud to be able to host all these models as demonstrators here at our showroom in Blackpool. We are open 7 days a week; so there really has never been a better time to try before you buy.
