The 2015 Honda CR-V - innovating the future

As the world's best-selling SUV in the first three months of 2014, some might say the Honda CR-V is already the best it could be. For 2015 the best gets even better.

In 2015 the CR-V will sport a whole new look: new headlamps, front grille, fog lights, skid-plate, bumpers, LED combination lamps and tailgate design, the refreshed CR-V is going to turn heads wherever it goes.

The CR-V will be fitted with the all new infotainment system, Honda Connect, which offers greater convenience and connectivity while on the road, featuring a broad range of functions – all presented on a 7-inch display screen.

Honda Connect gives front seat occupants fast access to everything from vehicle information, rear-view parking camera and music, to Bluetooth connectivity for their phones. The new system’s functions include: internet access, pre-installed apps, Honda App Center, optional Garmin satellite navigation, audio: (CD optional), AM/FM/DAB and internet radio, phone interface and Bluetooth connectivity, rear-view parking camera with dynamic guidelines and a range of vehicle information, such as trip meter, fuel economy and journey time.

Under the bonnet, there's a more powerful 1.6 litre i-DTEC four-cylinder diesel engine from Honda's pioneering Earth Dreams Technology Series, delivering outstanding performance and low CO2 emissions.

In fact, if you opt for the new nine-speed automatic transmission option, the CR-V boasts emissions of just 135g/km - 20% lower than before.

Prefer a manual drive? The new diesel engine also works with a six-speed manual transmission to produce 160 PS and 350 Nm, while emitting a class-leading sub-130g/km of CO2 - an 11% improvement on the previous unit.

The new CR-V will be built here in the UK, at the long established Swindon plant.
