Giving back to the community is something that we have always valued at Cox Motor Group.

North West Air Ambulance

The North West Air Ambulance Charity's helicopters fly 365 days a year, with the doctors and paramedics on board providing rapid treatment, hospital transfers, and ultimately, giving the gift of time to patients across the entire North West region each year.

As one of our chosen charities, we provide a new car for them to use free of charge to help transport stock around their shops. We regularly renew the car so they have a brand new one around every 6 months.

North West Air Ambulance Charity Retail Area Manager, Christyna O'Connell, uses the vehicle on a daily basis to easily transport stock and take volunteers between its five charity shops in the region, including the one based in Lytham St Annes. The North West Air Ambulance Charity has five retail stores throughout the region in Lytham St. Annes, Kirkby Lonsdale, Garstang, Southport and Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Blood Bikes

North West Honda Super Centre have been supporting the North West Blood Bikes since 2016. In their 7th year of association, the charity took delivery of another CRF1100 Africa Twin as well as the newly launched NT1100 machine. They even have another NT1100 on order with us at this time.

Further to our commitment to supply reliable, dependable machinery to this worthy cause, North West Honda Super Centre have also organised a regular charity ride called ‘Ride the Lights’ along Blackpool’s infamous illuminations. Up to 300 bikers join us rain or shine to raise funds for this great concern.

We are lucky enough to count many North West Blood Bike volunteers as customers of ours for bike purchasing, servicing and clothing and accessories. ‘It is great to feel a part of this journey with the Blood Bikers’ said Sales Manager Simon Carter. ‘The whole North West Honda team are behind the effort and we hope to be able to continue our support for many years to come’.

The Edward Dee Fund

We’re always happy to help a worthy cause at Cox Motor Group, and we were delighted to present Elizabeth Dee of The Edward Dee Fund with a cheque for a cool £1,000.

Liz approached us and asked us if we could help both to raise awareness and raise some badly needed funds in her quest to become a full time campaigner for the Edward Dee Fund.

Of course we said we’d do all we could to help and in turn we organised an incredibly successful football tournament and fun day which took place at Halton in July. It was a great day, showcasing the intense rivalry between competing teams in the Cox Motor Group (no broken bones you’ll be pleased to know!) It did so much for Liz and her important work.
