Aftercare & Services
It may be small, but it shares the same styling and some of the features of its big brother, the awesome CRF450R. Hit the electric start and the air-cooled SOHC engine is eager to go, tuned specifically for smooth bottom end torque, perfect for junior riders. The new diamond spar steel frame, the 31mm diameter fork with 140mm of travel and Honda Pro-Link rear suspension system provide a tough chassis to bash on through the rough stuff.
A brand new steel, diamond backbone frame gives the CRF125F perfect balance and rigidity that delivers the handling expected from a CRF. The integrated air box/battery design fits lengthways, keeping the CRF125F slim.
A restart on a circuit can be tiring for a novice with just a kick-start – especially after a long day. Electric start, with a kick-start as a backup, brings the CRF125F to life quickly.
With the CRF125F, young riders can progress to more adventurous riding, safely. With a suspension system built around a beefy 31mm telescopic fork and heavy weight springs, the bike is perfect for soaking up the forces from a jump. A new rear shock has a 32mm diameter piston damper with separate air/oil/gas pressure chambers to reduce emulsification and maintenance. The steel swingarm is built around the Honda Pro-Link system, which uses needle bearings to diminish friction. A 220mm front disc brake is hydraulically operated with an adjustable span lever. Complemented by the 95mm rear drum brake, both provide a good even balance of braking power.
To ride the CRF125F, at the minimum you will need a CBT and a provisional. This requires an L plate attached to bike.
The minimum age to hold an A1 licence is 17. With an A1 licence, you can ride a light motorcycle up to 11 kW (and a power-to-weight ratio not more than 0.1 kW per kg) and 125 cc. You may also ride motor tricycles with a power output of not more than 15 kW. The requirement is that you have passed your CBT, theory test and practical test.
