Second generation thriving on apprenticeship programs at Cox Motor Group.

It is 17 years since they began trading in the Lancaster and Morecambe area, but the company that operates as Lancaster Honda and Lancaster Volkswagen is eager to cement its future. They currently have over 20 young people enrolled on various apprenticeship schemes in the group, with 3 important examples of their commitment to these programs amongst them. Daniel Hayton, Christopher Blease and Lewis Cox are thriving on their respective programs, something which is very pleasing for their parents, who themselves were instrumental in establishing the business 17 years ago.

Group Financial Director, Helen Hayton (and mother of Dan) is clearly delighted with their success: “It’s great to see the progress that all of our apprentices are making. We have a clear philosophy in the business that states that any member of staff has the chance to shape our business in the future, and the way that we have developed people into senior positions is a reflection of that. I also think that it shows our belief in our apprentice programs by entrusting them with our own offspring.”
